World War 2 Evacuation.
On the 1st of September 1939 it was 2 days before World War 2 began. The government asked children to be evacuated, to get taken away from their families, homes, schools...the government were doing it for the safety of the children, trying to protect them from the bombings and general war ruckus. But what would it be like for these children? Being evacuated from everything they loved. Knowing their mum and dad were still in the war. I'm sure some would rather try struggle through the war than be evacuated. It also might be for the best. If they got taken away they really wouldn't be able to get harmed in the war. So...
It is proposed that children in the war should have been forced to evacuate
